Every platform measures activity.  But activity itself does not drive change.

FAVORZ measures connection.  Because the connection is what changes us.

FAVORZ was built to reveal something communities often can't see: The abundance already among us.

Our time. Our knowledge. Our skills. The things we can share. And our willingness to show up for one another.

Individually, these things may seem ordinary.

Together, they create something extraordinarily valuable:

Social Capital.

The Golden Orb

At the heart of FAVORZ is the Golden Orb.

It represents an act of kindness moving between two people.

But the orb doesn't belong to the giver.  And it doesn't belong to the receiver.

It exists between them.

For the person receiving, it can mean: I am worthy of receiving.

For the person giving: I am worthy of giving.

And for the community: We are abundant.

Every Golden Orb is evidence,

                             One felt safe enough to ask,

                             Another felt strong enough to offer, and

                            Two became more connected because of it.

What FAVORZ Measures

When someone says: I could use this.

And someone else says: I can help.

FAVORZ calls that a Match.

A Match might be a ride, a borrowed tool, a shared meal, a little knowledge, or a few minutes of someone's time.

The thing exchanged matters.

But so does something less visible:

A connection was created that has a ripple effect. 

One act of kindness can make the next act of kindness a little more likely.

One Match becomes another. 

People who receive begin to give. People who give discover that something ordinary to them can matter deeply to someone else.

Connections become relationships.  And, relationships build Social Capital.

And it doesn't take long for a community to begin viewing itself differently.

Not only through what it needs, but more importantly, through what it already has.

Revealing Community Abundance

We live in a world that is very good at measuring what people lack.

Those measures matter, but they aren't the whole story.

FAVORZ asks a different question: What is already here?

Perhaps one of the greatest untapped resources in any community isn't money.

It's the Human Capital.

FAVORZ doesn't create the abundance.  The people do.

FAVORZ gives that abundance a place to become visible and a way to move.

And with every Match, something grows:

The muscle memory of trust. Of connection. Of knowing we can rely on one another.

That muscle memory becomes Social Capital.

Until helping one another isn't extraordinary.

It's simply how the community works.
